On 16 December, Richard gave an interview to David Rosenberg of KPFA News in San Francisco, on “Imperialism in American Foreign Policy.” He commented on the historical origins of American imperialism, citing the work of historians William Appleman Williams and Charles Austin Beard as the two major historians of our course of empire.
